The De Buck family began its sod farm business in Michigan, 1955, now one of four independent sod farms in the US. After graduating from Michigan State University, Leonard De Buck moved to the Pine Island Black Dirt Region. The De Buck Sod Farm in Pine Island, NY covers more than 450 acres of prime turf grass. The family's 50+ years of experience and tradition go into every roll of sod that De Buck's Sod Farm delivers.
